A FRENCH STORY
Inspired by the fascinating history of Établissements Marcel, a Roanne-based company that pioneered the French marcel, which is now defunct, the Tricots Marcel brand was founded in 2019 with the ambition of reviving this popular and iconic French garment.
To write this new chapter in the marcel, Tricots Marcel has set up shop in Roanne, in the Loire region, the cradle of knitwear in France. Since the traditional garment workshops no longer exist, Tricots Marcel has selected partner workshops in Roanne that perpetuate the same exceptional expertise.
From the color of the fabrics, to the manufacturing and quality control, our vests , our undershirts and our knitwear are thought out, designed, sewn, labeled and packaged with the highest standards in Roanne.
A CULT GARMENT
If we have chosen to celebrate this particular garment, it is because the tank top represents much more to us than just a piece of clothing.
He is a true icon .
